The owner of Pick's Productions, Terry Pickard has been in the Television Industry for over 18 years, with the last 15 spent in Televison News at an ABC Affiliate located in the Midwest.
Terry holds both an Associate's and Bachelor's Degree in Television Production from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI, graduating in 1990.
He has many interests, the most obvious being the enjoyment of the great outdoors and travel. An avid sportsman, he began hunting over 25 years ago and has been fishing as long as he can remember. As the Outdoor Producer for the aforementioned TV station that has enabled him to videotape many hunts and fishing trips, including elk, rabbit, deer, turkey, and all types of game birds. From the Great Lakes to the many inland waterways in Michigan he has spent many hours with the camera rolling searching for Walleye, Muskie and Lake Trout.
Terry has been covering High School Athletics for over 13 years and is a high school sports nut! His love of high school sports is simple; most high school athletes play for one reason, the name on the front of the jersey. So the passion a high school student/athlete as well as the fans exert are unparalleled. In Addition to H.S. Sports, he has covered over 20 PGA Tour events, A Ryder Cup, A Super Bowl, 2 Final Fours, The Rose Bowl, and countless NFL, NBA and Collegiate games.
An avid golfer, obsessed might be better word, Terry also enjoys gardening and is a big time history buff. He especially enjoys interviewing veterans and capturing their thoughts and memories on tape. He is currently applying for grants to produce a website featuring veterans and their stories for future generations to enjoy. "Once the Veteran is gone, so goes the stories".
